Antma Syrup 7oz - Herbsforever
As a Dietary Supplement: Supports proper function of the lungs. Strengthens and rejuvenates the respiratory system. According to AyurvedaCough known as “Kasa” in ancient Ayurvedic science is the most common frequent problem of respiratory system caused by stimulation of sensory nerves in the mucosa of the pharynx, larynx, trachea and bronchi. Sensitization of the normal cough reflex is also observed following with viral infections, esophageal reflux, postnasal drip, cough variant asthma and in patients taking ACE inhibitors. The main biological factor involved in this is Vata (air). The Vata, getting obstructed in the lower channels, becomes lodged in the upper channels and taking on the function of the Udana Vata (one of the five types of Vata) i.e. expiratory function, gets localized in throat and chest entering all the cavities in the head. It fills them up and causes hunching convulsive movements of the body, jaws, sides of the neck and eyes. It distorts and stiffens the eyes, back, chest and sides of the body and then leads to cough, which is either dry or accompanied with expectoration of phlegm. The characteristic sound and pain of cough is produced as a result particularly of the obstruction to the forceful movement of the Vata (air) signs and symptoms due to different biological factors and can be summarized as:Due to Vata (air): Pain in the chest, sides, cardiac region and head, alteration in voice, dryness of chest, throat and mouth, horripilation, faintness, rattling sound in throat, depression, hollow sound of cough, weakness, agitation and stupor. The cough is dry and the person expectorates with great difficulty, dry sputum and after expectoration the cough is diminished. It is alleviated by unctuous, acidic, salty, hot foods and drinks and also aggravated at the time of completion of digestion.Due to Pitta (fire): There is yellowish expectoration, icteric tinge (yellowish color) of the eyes, bitter taste in the mouth, disorder of voice, sensation of fuming in chest, thirst, burning, stupor, anorexia and giddiness. Due to prolonged coughing, the person is dazed and expectorates sputum mixed with bile.Due to Kapha (water): Weakness of the digestive system, anorexia, vomiting, coryza, nausea, heaviness, horripillation, sweet taste in the mouth, increased secretion and asthenia. The person expectorates dense, sweet, sticky and thick sputum. While coughing there is not much pain but chest is over full.Ayurvedic Herbs :- High Quality wild crafted herbs from their natural habitat.Puskarmool (Inula racemosa), Vibhitaki (Terminalia belerica), Pipali (Piper longum), Vasa (Adhathoda vasica), Lasora (Cordia latifolia), Bharangi (Clerodendron serraton), Kantkari (Solanum jacquinni), Vanpasha (Viola odorata), Jufa (Hyssopus afficinate) , Lavang (Syzygiom armaticum), Peppermint (Mentha piperita), Mulethi (Licorice), Mishri(Rock sugar), Navsar.Description / SUMMARYThe combinations of these herbs help liquefy the mucus and expel it easily. Cardio-B 700mg 90 Tablets - Herbsforever
A natural herbal supplement to maintain healthy blood pressure and circulation.Ayurvedic Concept:Elevated (high) blood pressure, known as "Rakta Vridhi" in ancient Ayurvedic literature, is aaggering health problem for three major reasons. For one it is very common, secondly a very wide varietyfconsequences can and do occur and are sometimes devastating. Finally it remains asymptomatic until late in its course. Elevated blood pressure has been identified as one of the most important risk factors in both coronary heart disease and cerebrovascular (stroke) accidents. It may also lead to congestive heart and renal failure. The main biological doshas (humors) involved in elevated blood pressure are pitta (fire) and vata (air). Vitiated pitta (fire) while circulating in the body, with the help of vata (air), reaches the orifices of the dilated and obstructed splenic and hepatic blood carrying vessels. Then it causes the vitiation of Rakta (blood). So the vitiated pitta (fire) plays an important role in the pathogenesis of elevated blood pressure. Chywanprash Rasayana 17.50 oz Jar - Herbsforever
Ancient Ayurvedic text say that Chyawanprash contains an amalgam of herbs with which a person can regain the vitality of their youth back, even in the later stages of life. This is not an overstated claim or a slip of the pen.The story of how Chaywanprash came into being is told here. Saint Chyawan a great and saintly man was in the retiring stage of his life called Samnayas Ashrama. His daily activities included meditation and prayer. His householder life was complete. One day he was making his way through the forest when he suddenly happened upon the daughter of a king who was blindfolded and playing with her friends. As she was waving her arms about in an effort to find her way, her hands touched the saint. The king upon hearing this came to the scene and disclosed to the saint that it was a custom of their country that a woman could touch only one man in her lifetime. He then told the saint that he would now be obligated to marry his daughter. Chyawan was in a difficult situation. He was committed to the obligation of his stage of life, that of renouncing material things and family life, but yet he knew he must honor the king and the country’s tradition. Saint Chyawan discussed with the king the problems of marrying his daughter. He explained that he was an old man and that his vitality was gone. The king did not sympathize with the saint and he again insisted “ you must marry my daughter “ or her life will be in ruins. Saint Chyawan agreed but asked the king to give him some time to prepare. Being well read and wise he then prepared a jam like substance containing 52 herbs that had the power of making Chyawan feel young enough to face the challenge which had been put before him. When the saint returned the king was pleased and both Chyawan and king’s daughter enjoyed conjugal bliss and lived happily together.Need I tell you that Chayawanprash is named after the saint. The preparation of Chayawanprash is not an easy task. Again it is a mixture of fifty-two herbs of which only forty-eight are available. The other four have become extinct due to environmental pollution and the increase in the use of pesticides. There is a reason behind the usage of fifty-two herbs as there are fifty-two weeks in a year. So it is said that Chayawanprash is to be taken all year long to have proper fitness in a persons body.Market oriented companies put too much emphasis on taste which means they may use fewer herbs and less amounts of the important herbs because they may be bitter. Chywanprash Zesty Mix 17.50 oz Jar - Herbsforever
This formula is made exclusively for those that require a mild spicy taste in their diet. It is part of daily diet for the health and wellness of the entire family from school kids to senior citizen.**The Sanskrit word Rasayanas which literally means "To circulate life's essence.**Ancient Ayurvedic text say that Chyawanprash contains an amalgam of herbs with which a person can regain the vitality of their youth back, even in the later stages of life. This is not an overstated claim or a slip of the pen. The story of how Chaywanprash came into being is told here. Herbs Forever has created a Chyawanprash formula containing wild crafted herbs, fruits and plants from their natural habitat. We have worked hard to bring to you a Chyawanprash that has exquisite flavor and maximum potency. Quality, quantity and purity are our guidelines, not profit margins.Amla is one of the main herbs listed in Chayawanprash and it is available only once in a year for harvesting. Vitiation of Kapha (water) will manifest its action by producing slimy and cold discharge, itching and mildly painful menstrual flow. Ayurveda may provide an alternative and natural solution to such problems. There are certain herbs, which are particularly mentioned for the female body in Ayurvedic text. These revitalizing herbs gently maintain the healthy natural production of female hormones, help to keep healthy menstrual cycles and ease the transition into menopause. Gastro Care 600mg 90 veg caps - Herbsforever
As a dietary supplement, Gastro Care helps to alleviate occasional abdominal gas and manages indigestion due to Vata (air) aggravation. It further helps to promote healthy gastrointestinal tract and thus healthy assimilation and absorption of food. Ayurvedic Concept: According to Ayurveda, strength, health, enthusiasm, complexion and luster of skin, vital essence like heat (temperature of the body) and the life sustaining breaths (prana) depend upon the "Jathara-agni", i.e., digestive power of the body. Weak digestive power (Jathara-agni) leads to indigestion (Manda-agni). The undigested food particles in stomach lead to the formation of ama (undigested food material), i.e. free radicals. Ama (undigested food material) is considered as the main causative factor for the pathogenesis of various problems occurring in the body. This ama (undigested food material), combined with different doshas (humors), reaches different parts of the body and later creates problems relating to those parts. For example, in terms of doshas (humors), when ama (undigested food material) remains stagnant in the gastrointestinal tract, it causes the formation of gas and development of various parasites and worms. Related Symptoms Vata (air) Predominance: Some of the various conditions are tetanus, cervical spondilytis, locked jaws, hysteria, paralysis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteo arthritis. The associated symptoms are abdominal pain, flatulence, constipation, syncope and body aches. Pitta (fire) Predominance: Some of the various conditions are hormongiopathies, leprosy, malignancy, anemia, urinary tract infection, inflammation and abscess formation. The associated symptoms are burns, burning sensation in the body and increased sweating and fever. Kapha (water) Predominance: Some of the various conditions are diabetes mellitus, bronchial asthma, cough and anorexia. The associated symptoms are heaviness and stiffness in the body, nausea, vomiting, swelling under the eyes and face and belching.Description:A combination of Hing (Asafoetida) combined with other Ayurvedic herbs and distillates of aromatic plants, helps to maintain the proper function of the vata (air) high gastrointestinal tract. This combination is primarily used for imbalances of Apana vayu (the downward moving energy of the body). Apana is responsible for eliminative functions such as defecation, micturition, flatulence, menstruation, ejaculation and giving birth. Excellent for vata (air), this combination can be taken as natural supplement for gas, indigestion, constipation and other common problems associated with poor digestion and formation of gas. Ayurvedic Concept: The menopause condition arises approximately between the ages of 45 to 50, when the menstruation ceases. The decrease in hormones is known as climacteric. It is the long process that begins with women in there 40’s. In Ayurveda, it is well described that menses start approximately at the age of 12 and cease at the near age of 50. Between these years doshas of body also get adjusted. In Ayurveda at this stage, Pitta gets elevated, (+++), Vata less then Pitta (++) and Kapha (+) decrease in their quality and quantity. These changes produce many symptoms according to their amount. Symptoms: Kapha (water) type: The decrease in Kapha (water) will produce dryness, hot flashes or burning sensations internally as well as externally, weakness of joints and bones, thirst and insomnia. Vata (air) & Pitta (fire) type: The increase in Pitta (fire) and Vatta (air) and decrease in Kapha (water), will produce vertigo, aches, tingling sensation, dryness of whole body (also includes vaginal dryness). These symptoms clearly indicate the symptoms of Menopausal Syndrome described in Modern Science. Description According to Ayurveda: Menoaid is a balanced formula for easy transition of Menopause period without any major physical and psychological upset to females. The herbs used for these problems are rich sources of ytooestrogen (plant estrogens are hormones), which our body accepts more easily, then synthetic hormones, which are very much helpful in checking the menopausal syndrome. Deficiency of Kapha (water), which may be correlated with collagen in the body, and increase in Vata (air) (Porousness of tissues including bones) are the main causative factors for this syndrome. It is the collagen that holds the minerals like calcium in the bones. So reforming of collagen is, therefore, a basic need for the correction of the menopausal related pathology. The herbs in Menoaid are mostly Vata Shamak (Air pacifying), some herbs have Tridosh-shamak (Balance all the three humors) and Rasayana (rejuvenating) properties. So by their joint action they check the various symptoms related to this syndrome. Composition: High Quality extracts of Wild crafted herbs from their natural habitat.
